Yes, it is done with care. Dee avoids sensitive areas, uses appropriate cleaners and controlled rinsing, and focuses on safe, cosmetic improvement rather than blasting everything.
Do you pressure wash the engine bay?
Dee does not stand back and blast everything with a strong pressure wand. Cleaning is done with targeted spray, brushes and rinsing, followed by blow drying to move water away from delicate spots.
Can you clean older, high mileage or modified engines?
Most can be cleaned, but older or heavily modified bays are always inspected first. If something looks too fragile or risky, Dee will explain what can and cannot be safely done.
How long do you need my vehicle for engine bay cleaning?
Expect the engine bay add on to be built into the time of your main service. In most cases it adds around thirty to forty five minutes depending on how dirty things are and how complex the bay is.
How often should I have my engine bay cleaned?
Once a year works well for many drivers. Work vehicles, off road use or very dusty conditions may benefit from more frequent cleaning so grime does not build up heavily.
